Nalgonda: A youth drowned after his motor cycle flew off the road and fell into NSP canal at Rayanipalem of Miryalaguda mandal in the district here on Sunday.

The victim was identified as Yara Rakesh, 22, who was a student of private degree college at Miryalaguda. He started working in a clothing store as the colleges were shut because of COVID-19 lockdown. He took a ride of new Pulsar bike when one of his friends bought it. The bike lost control due to overspeed and fell into NSP canal at Rayanipalem. As the bike fell on him he failed to save himself though he knew swimming.


Getting the information, Miryalaguda police rushed to the place and took up search in the canal for the youth. The police fished out the body of the youth from the canal and shifted it to area hospital at Miryalaguda for autopsy.
