Hyderabad: Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Smart Policing, a three-day executive certificate programme is jointly being organised by Nalsar University of Law and Center for Human Security Studies (CHSS), a human security studies think tank – Hyderabad, for the Police and the Central Paramilitary Forces (CISF-CRPF-SSB-ITBP-BSF) and other important law enforcement agencies in the country.
The executive certificate programme will be conducted at Dr MCR HRD Institute, Hyderabad, from November 18 to 20. The faculty for the programme is drawn from many AI enabled tech manufacturers, AI research community and academics of global repute, according to a release.
Theoretical and practical used cases teaching methods will be used to empower the participants. Legal, ethical, social and regulatory challenges involved in usage and adoption of such niche technologies like AI will be discussed throughout the course components, it said.
International best practices on AI enabled smart policing will be taught by eminent global faculties drawn from the UK, US, Israel, Australia and Dubai along with reputed Indian faculty drawn from IITs and other reputed academic institutions of national & international repute, it added.
