Khammam: The two-day Namasthe Telangana-Telangana Today Property Show, first of its kind to be held in Kothagudem, has been kicked off here on Saturday.
District Collector Anudeep Durishetty along with Kothagudem Municipal Chairperson Kapu Seethalakshmi, District Library Chairman Dindigala Rajender and SCCL General Manager (IR&PM) A Ananda Rao inaugurated the property show at Kothagudem Club.
Speaking on the occasion Seethalakshmi appreciated the initiative of Namasthe Telangana (NT)- Telangana Today (TT) organising the property show and said Kothagudem town and its surrounding have been growing fast giving a boost to real estate business.
Those buying any real estate property need to check whether the venture has proper approval from government departments, she suggested. It was delightful to see the first property show happening in Kothagudem. It helps the SCCL employees to check the real estate properties available in the market. Offering equated monthly installments in buying the properties could benefit the buyers, said Ananda Rao.
Rajender felt that assembling bakers and real estate companies at one place allows the buyers to learn all aspects of buying a property without spending much time. He urged the locals to make use of the opportunity.
The newspaper’s GM (Ads), N Surender Rao explained that the property show was aimed at providing a common platform for real estate developers, banks and prospective property buyers. It was mainly beneficial to middle class families to get better bargains.
As many as 22 stalls have been put up including national banks, Bank of Baroda and union Bank of India. The event received good response from the public as a good number of people turned up at the property show.
Divine Homes -Srinivasa Heights and Sri Balaji Estates were the main sponsors and Sri Jaya Vilasani Developers was the co-sponsor. TBGKS leader Md Razak, NT Branch Manager R Ramesh, bureau in-charge M Venugopal, edition in-charge K Purnachander, DGM Raja Reddy, Assistant Manager B Shekar Babu and others were present.
