Hyderabad: The Rahul Sankrityan directorial was released on Friday to unanimous positive response from both critics and audiences. While critics lauded the movie for its technical brilliance and visual screenplay and performances of all the lead actors, the big-ticket has changed the equations at the box office following the release of another big budget film ‘Pushpa’.
Shyam Singha Roy made remarkable business in domestic and overseas markets on its opening day. The film has collected the share of Rs 8.56 crore in both the Telugu States in just two days.
Although several theatres in Andhra Pradesh have been closed due to low-ticketing prices and non affordability of maintenance, the big-ticket films like ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ have put up a good show in pulling the crowds to theatres.
Starring Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty in the lead, ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ which is produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under Niharika Entertainment banner, is one of the career defining flicks of Natural Star Nani.
