Hyderabad: The Narsingi police seized Rs 1 crore cash suspected to be unaccounted from an Innova car during checking on Monday evening.

According to the police, three persons were transporting the cash in the car and are suspected to have got the money after hacking into unclaimed bank accounts and later diverting it into personal accounts of people by luring with huge monitory benefits.

The amount was handed over to the income tax department for further investigation, the police said.
