Hyderabad: DPS Nacharam organised a virtual event to pay tributes to India’s first Home Minister Sardar Patel. The special assembly to mark the National Unity Day programme saw students participating with enthusiasm and taking a vow to strive for the country’s progress.
The programme began with Principal Sunitha Rao addressing the students and underlining the importance of the role of youth in preserving the unity of the country. The special guest for the day Saroj K Mallick, DIG-NISA regaled the students with stories of training cadets, he stressed the contribution of each citizen in making our country great.
He administered the pledge and enthused students to keep the flag high. A beautiful presentation by the students on the unity and diversity of India had the audience spellbound.
Senior Vice-Principal Nandita Sunkara lauded the efforts of students and motivated them to contribute their mite to strengthen the country. The event ended on a fervent note with every heart filled with pride and every mind resolved to contribute to India’s glory.
