Hyderabad: Controversies continue to follow Nayanthara into the new year.
The actress is once again at the center of controversy, this time with the producers of her career-defining film Chandramukhi.
The producers of the film have sent a legal notice to both Nayanthara and Netflix. They are seeking ₹5 crore in compensation for using clips from the film in the documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale without prior permission.
A similar issue arose in November with actor Dhanush, who sent a legal notice demanding ₹10 crore for the unauthorized use of a three-second clip from his film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the same documentary.
So far, neither Nayanthara nor Netflix has responded to the latest legal notice.
