Hyderabad: Even after three rounds of Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET) 2025 admission counselling, nearly 7,500 MBA and MCA seats had no takers in the State.
The Technical Education department, which released seat allotments for students who participated in the TG ICET special phase counselling on Thursday, has allotted a total of 30,371 out of 37,860 seats, leaving 7,489 vacant. Among the vacant, 4,844 were MBA and 2,645 were MCA seats.
This time, not just in private colleges, a large number of seats went vacant in university colleges as well. Twenty university colleges had no takers for 133 MBA seats. Similarly, 228 MBCA seats in 17 university colleges remained unfilled after special phase seat allotment. Overall, 72 colleges got 100 per cent seat allotment.
Students who received a provisional seat allotment order must self-report online via the website https://tgicet.nic.in, make the payment and report at the respective college on or before October 13, else provisional allotment order automatically stands cancel.
