Nizamabad: Education standards will improve in higher educational institutions with the team work of teaching faculty, who should encourage students in research sector and prepare a plan for new syllabus according to the present scenario and give high priority to new inventions, said Telangana University Vice-chancellor and senior IAS officer Neethu Prasad.
After taking charge as the Vice-Chancellor of the varsity on Saturday, Neethu Prasad was offered a warm welcome by registrar Prof Naseem and faculty as she visited the varsity for the first time. Later, she interacted with the faculty members and non-teaching staff at Academic Audit Cell office along with its director Prof Kanakaiah before launching the route map of university.
She also discussed various issues belonging to the university including the launch of new courses, developing distance education, setting up of science college, construction of social sciences building, sports complex, indoor playground and others.
