Hyderabad: NephroPlus on Thursday announced the launch of a large-scale free kidney screening campaign with the theme ‘Are Your Kidneys Ok? Detect Early and Protect Kidney Health’ on the occasion of World Kidney Day, on March 13.

The screening camps will take place from 9 am to 6 pm between March 6 and 8 in Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Haldwani, Ranchi, Jaipur, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Dehradun, Nagpur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Patna, Lucknow, Darbhanga, Motihari, Sasaram, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mahbubnagar, Hisar, Panchkula, and in select clinics in Nepal, Philippines, and Uzbekistan.

A comprehensive research study with data gathered during the event will analyse key aspects such as prevalence of elevated creatinine levels, effects of diabetes and hypertension, regional health patterns, gender-related kidney insights, and the impact of smoking on kidney health.

“These findings will contribute to a ground-breaking global white paper on CKD prevention, offering critical insights for health care professionals and policymakers,” Vikram Vuppala, CEO and founder of NephroPlus said.
