Adilabad: Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA)-Utnoor Project Officer Bhavesh Mishra has been transferred and replaced by Ankit. An order to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.
A 2015 IAS officer, Bhavesh was posted as Project Officer of ITDA-Utnoor on February 15 of 2020. He strived hard to continue the learning process for tribal students during Covid-induced lockdown by taking steps to conduct online classes. He introduced e-Office to ensure transparency as part of reforms. He was promoted as Collector of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
Ankit, who was the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) of Wanaparthy district, is a 2019-batch IAS officer. He hails from Prathapghar district in Uttar Pradesh. An alumnus of IIT Varanasi, he cracked IAS in his second attempt. He said that he would focus on improving education, health and employment for tribals.
