Rajanna-Sircilla: District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar on Thursday appealed to the people to be careful about coronavirus since the next two to three weeks are crucial for the spread of the virus. “People should not visit areas of mass gatherings and not come out unless they have some important work,” he said.

The Collector was speaking after visiting Chandurthi Primary Agriculture Center where he inspected the vaccination and Covid testing process. Interacting with the PHC staff, he enquired about active cases, vaccinated people and those who need to be vaccinated.


Krishna Bhaskar appealed to the people to cooperate with the district administration to check the spread of the virus. Since the spread of Covid was rampant, people should follow Covid norms and wear face masks and maintain physical distance, he said.

People suffering with Covid symptoms must undergo tests and all eligible people should take vaccine, he said, adding that it was the spread of the virus can be checked if people wear masks and maintain physical distance.
