Hyderabad: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with the police reportedly conducted searches at the residences of two civil liberties activists in the city on Wednesday.

According to sources in NIA, the searches were done in connection with a case registered by the agency pertaining to the arrest of a journalist in Visakhapatnam under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and other Sections of Indian Penal Code, Arms Act and Andhra Pradesh Public Security Act.
