Hyderabad: Escalating the attack on the Congress government, BRS Legislature Party (BRSLP) deputy leader T Harish Rao released a ‘Congress Scam Calendar’, listing month-wise irregularities under the Revanth Reddy government.
The calendar-style poster lists a series of scams mapped across the year, including those in the civil supplies department, NTPC fly ash, sand, RTC contracts, AMRUT, Fourth City, Lagacherla and HCU land, PG medical, HILT policy, power, Singareni tenders as well as KLSR Infratech, among others, in each of the 12 months. It also carries a note alleging a ‘30% commission for every work’, in a sharp political swipe at the ruling party’s campaign promises.
Addressing the media, Harish Rao said the calendar symbolises systematic collapse of governance in Telangana under the Congress regime. He said the State government is turning every department into a hub of corruption and alleged that public funds are being misused while welfare and development have taken a back seat.
“The Congress motto appears to be nil guarantees, but full scams,” he said, stating that the Congress promised a job calendar, but delivered a scam calendar instead.
