Hyderabad: An employee of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), MA Waris, has been appointed as the vice-president of the Society of Indian Radiographers (SIR) for the period 2026–2028.

The organisation assigned him this prestigious responsibility in recognition of his extensive experience, dedication, and leadership skills in the field of radiography.


Director of NIMS, Professor Nagari Birappa, in a statement, said, “This is a matter of pride for NIMS. His leadership will facilitate innovations and development in the field of radiography.”
