Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR-NIN) has invited ideas and solutions for its upcoming National Innovations Summit titled Innovations in Nutrition and Food for Unified Solutions and Empowerment (INFUSE) on December 4 and 5.

Innovators, researchers, and startups can submit ideas and solutions spanning food technology for healthy diets, real-time nutrient assessment, personalized nutrition applications, and point-of-care diagnostic devices, which can address nutritional challenges such as food security, diet related noncommunicable diseases, and accessible nutrition with the potential to improve health outcomes, a press release said.

The NIN is encouraging innovators to contribute ideas that will help build healthier and empowered communities through science-driven nutritional advancements. Shortlisted applications will be invited to present before an expert jury during the INFUSE summit in ICMR-NIN in December.

“Selected promising innovation will not only receive recognition but will also benefit from expert mentorship, support and collaboration opportunities”, Dr Bharati Kulkarnin, Director, NIN said.
Proposals can be submitted via email to infuseinnovations@gmail.com by November 10, 2025. For further details visit: https://www.nin.res.in/downloads/INFUSE_Brochure.pd
