Adilabad: Five daily wage earners from Maharashtra sustained serious injuries, while four others received minor injuries when a lorry collided with an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling on the national highway 44 at Chincholi village in Neradigonda mandal on Tuesday.
Neradigonda police said five daily wage earners had grievous injuries, while four others sustained minor injuries when the lorry dashed against the auto at a temple. All of them were daily wage labourers from Maharashtra.
The workers were on their way to pick cotton balls in rural parts of Adilabad district at the time of the incident. Eleven passengers were travelling in the three-wheeler.
