Nine held after stone-pelting over cattle transport in Saroornagar
A police inspector was injured after a mob attacked officers with stones during a cattle transportation dispute in Saroornagar, Hyderabad. The police dispersed the mob, registered a case under BNS, and arrested nine individuals.

Hyderabad: An Inspector was injured when a group of persons pelted stones at a police party at Saroornagar Road on Monday night following a row over cattle transportation.
According to the police, a man was transporting eight bulls in a truck to Purani Haveli, in the old city when a group of individuals stopped the vehicle.
The police arrived and after verifying with the cattle trader, they were shifting the vehicle to a gaushala at Fathullaguda.
“On reaching Chaitanyapuri turn, the rioters stopped the vehicle on the road and pelted stones at the policemen leading to severe injury,” said Malkajgiri police.
The police later used force and dispersed the mob from the spot. A case was registered under various Sections of BNS and nine persons were arrested.
