Nirmal: Friends and classmates of Gaini Ramdas, a NREGA field assistant who died recently, extended financial aid of Rs 43,500 to his family at Kallur village in Kuntala mandal on Saturday.

Ch Mohan Das, Somnath, Chandu, Rajeshwar Reddy, Koteshwar, Balaji, Muttanna, Poshetty and others handed over the funds raised with the help of their classmates, seniors and juniors belonging to Telangana BC Residential School-Bellampalli to family members of Ramdas.


Ramdas (43) died due to pneumonia on September 29. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
