Nirmal painting exhibition held at NTPC-Ramagundam
Held at Deepthi Mahila Samithi premises in the township, the exhibition showcased the traditional and aesthetic Nirmal paintings which mesmerised the visitors
Peddapalli: Deepthi Mahila Samithi of NTPC-Ramagundam organised a two-day ‘Nirmal Painting Exhibition’ on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Held at Deepthi Mahila Samithi premises in the township, the exhibition showcased the traditional and aesthetic Nirmal paintings which mesmerised the visitors.
Inaugurating the exhibition, Chief General Manager, NTPC-Ramagundam & Telangana, Sunil Kumar said such exhibitions would help revive traditional art forms and handicrafts in the country, which was fading away due to the advent of modern technology.
Later, Sunil Kumar along with other officials felicitated three Nirmal painting artisans for their contribution in promoting Nirmal painting.
President of Deepthi Mahila Samithi, Usha Kumar along with office bearers and members of mahila samithi, senior NTPC officials and others visitors were present on the occasion.
