Deepthi Mahila Samithi members participated in a Swachhta drive at the NTPC township in Ramagundam on Wednesday, with DMS president Rakhi Samanta highlighting the need for sustained cleanliness practices and encouraging people to adopt hygiene and cleanliness as daily habits.
The core aim of GEM was to empower young girls, particularly from underserved communities by giving them access to opportunities, guidance and holistic development.
NTPC in association with Deepthi Mahila Samithi and Dhanwantri Hospital organised an awareness session through virtual mode wherein more than 100 girls participated
Inaugurating the awareness programme, Deepthi Mahila Samithi president Usha Kumar asked the youth to give up the bad habits and contribute in progress of their family as well as society.

Held at Deepthi Mahila Samithi premises in the township, the exhibition showcased the traditional and aesthetic Nirmal paintings which mesmerised the visitors
Housed at the adult education centre of the township, Vidya Vihar will take classes daily for two hours through two regular teachers. As of now, 13 students have enrolled in the centre.
