NIT Warangal hosts National Conference on Structural Biophysics
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal launched the three-day National Conference on Emerging Trends in Structural Biophysics (CETSB-26), sponsored by DBT and ANRF. The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific exchange.

Hanamkonda: The three-day National Conference on Emerging Trends in Structural Biophysics (CETSB-26) being organised by the department of biotechnology, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal commenced in the city on Friday.
It is sponsored by the Union Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
The inaugural ceremony was held under the patronage of NITW Director Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi. The event was chaired by Head of the Department of Biotechnology Prof. B. Rama Raju while Prof. Soumya Lipsa Rath and Prof. Thyageshwar Chandran served as conveners of the conference.
The conference was inaugurated by former Director General of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Prof. Shekhar C. Mande. Prof. Rajan Sankaranarayanan of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), was the guest of honour.
CETSB-26 focuses on the theme “Integrating Structure, Dynamics, and Function,” emphasising recent advances in integrative structural biology, artificial intelligence-driven methodologies, drug discovery, and structural bioinformatics.
The conference includes keynote and invited lectures by eminent scientists from leading academic and research institutions across the country, providing a vibrant platform for scientific exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.
