NITHM holds curriculum advisory meet with experts in Hyderabad
The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) held its Curriculum Advisory Committee meeting in Hyderabad, where academicians, industry leaders and experts discussed strengthening academics, bridging skill gaps, promoting spiritual tourism and aligning growth with Telangana’s tourism policy.

Hyderabad: The NITHM organized its curriculum advisory committee (CAC) meeting with eminent academicians, industry leaders, and experts here on Saturday.
Participating in the meeting, Director Prof. V Venkata Ramana shared his vision of rejuvenating NITHM, strengthening its academic reputation, and aligning its growth with the Telangana tourism policy.
Former bureaucrat R Subrahmanyam emphasized the need for a national vision, skill-gap identification, and global-quality learning through practical, hands-on training.
CAC Chairman Prof. Randhir Singh Rathore highlighted the importance of stakeholder consultations, spiritual tourism, and attracting international students.
Other members and industry experts, including Prof. Sindhu, Sanjay Thakur, Arnab Gupta, and Soheb Samad, stressed the role of technology, innovation, grooming, and global opportunities for students.
