Bhadrachalam: Offering of theerdam, prasadam and shatari (Shatagopam) blessing to the devotees was restored at the historic Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple here on Monday.
It may be recalled that the distribution of theerdam, prasadam and shatari was stopped following the coronavirus outbreak last year.
With the relaxation of Covid-19 rules the services were restored, said the temple Executive Officer (EO) B Balaji in a statement.
Similarly, the temple authorities have decided to offer ‘Nityannadanam’ from Monday onwards to the devotees visiting the temple. Hitherto, tickets for free annadanam used to be issued at 10 am only and that made many devotees coming to temple after that time disappointed.
