Nizamabad: Fake baba dupes patient, decamps with gold and money
The victim said that her husband is facing kidney stones from last six months and appealed to cure stones in his kidneys, by hearing Godavari problem, baba asked her to took their house to perform poojas.
Nizamabad: Fake baba deceived a nephrolithiasis (Kidney stones) patient family and escaped with 2.5 tolas gold and ten thousand rupees at Gannaram village of Indalwai mandal on Monday. Indalwai police registered a case and conducting inquiry for fake baba.
On Monday, one fake baba arrived into the Gannaram village, sat near Hanuman temple and said that he will cure many long standing diseases with his glory, by seeing him many villagers approached the baba and explain about their diseases.
Jajula Godavari is one of among them and said that her husband is facing kidney stones from last six months and appealed to cure stones in his kidneys, by hearing Godavari problem, baba asked her to took their house to perform poojas.
After arriving to Godavari house, baba convinced her family members that if they bury gold chain and rings which are on her body and ten thousand rupees, her husband lakshmaiah will be cured immediately and kidney stones will be dissolved. Accepting baba proposal, he took gold ornaments and ten thousand rupees from lakshmaiah family members and perform pooja and ordered to take them after three hours and escape from the spot by taking his Dakshina.
After one hour Lakshmaiah tried to take buried golden ornaments, money and failed to obtain it, he understood that they got deceived in Baba hands and approached Indalwai police. Police registered case, conducting inquiry and searching for Baba.
