Nizamabad: Six persons who allegedly beat a person to death accusing him of stealing a mobile phone were arrested by Nizamabad police on Tuesday. Nizamabad ACP Venkateshwarlu told mediapersons that two cars, an autorickshaw and two mobile phones were seized from their possession.
It was said that on Monday, Saddam and his five associates beat the deceased person, identified as Sanjay, to death accusing him of stealing a mobile phone from their car. The arrested were Shaik Arbaz alias Saddam, Syed Faizan, Shaik Zaheeruddin, Shaik Kareem, Abdul Ibrahim and Abdul Azeem Siddiqui. The deceased hailed from Maharashtra.
