The victim was identified as Nune Shilaja (38) of Pamula Basti
Nizamabad: A 38-year-old woman was brutally murdered by some unidentified persons who left her mutilated body near the mortuary at Nizamabad Government General Hospital (GGH). Her throat was slit and her left arm, severed from the body, was missing.
The victim, Nune Shailaja, a resident of Pamula Basti in the city, and was living with her husband and three children. According to her husband Satyanand, Shailaja reportedly left home at 11 pm on Sunday night when the family was not at home. Her body was found near Nizamabad GGH hospital mortuary on Monday morning.
Her family informed the one town police who rushed to the spot and collected clues with the help of dog squad and clues team.
The police are searching for the severed limb and are also going through the CCTV footage of the area. They are also probing into the reason for Shailaja coming to the mortuary area around midnight and are scrutinising her mobile phone call history. A case was registered.
