Karimnagar: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that not a single double-bedroom house was handed over to beneficiaries in Huzurabad constituency so far. While he had completed double-bedroom houses in his Palakurthi constituency, houses were neglected in Huzurabad.
Though 4,000 2BHK houses were sanctioned for Huzurabad segment, not a single house was handed over to beneficiaries. The present situation prevailed only because of a former leader, who neglected the construction of 2BHK houses. Dayakar Rao made these comments while participating in Palle Pragathi programme in Peddapapaiahpalli of Huzurabad mandal on Friday.
Telangana was the only State, which was supplying safe drinking water to every house by completing Mission Bhagiratha scheme by spending Rs 40,000 crore. Electricity Department officials would be responsible if hanging electric wires, damaged and tilted current poles were found in the fourth phase of Palle Pragathi. The Minister assured to form Kandugula SC colony as gram panchayat by bringing the issue to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Announcing to give Rs 25 lakh to lay CC roads in SC colony, Dayakar Rao also instructed officials to construct new water tank and pipelines.
