Sangareddy: Sangareddy MLA and BRS district president Chintha Prabhakar said that the State Budget-2025 was a big disappointment for people of the district as the Congress government had failed to make any allocation for proposed projects.
He said that the government had allocated no funds for Sangameshwara Lift Irrigation Project (SLIP) and Basaveshwara Lift Irrigation Project (BLIP) though it had promised to take up the works that were commenced by the BRS government with an aim to provide irrigation water to 3.90 lakh acres in Sangareddy.
He said that the government had made meagre allocations for agriculture and allied sectors though it would need Rs 42,000 crore per annum to fulfil the promises made by Congress ahead of elections. Prabhakar said that Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka left farmers, women and elderly disappointed with his budget allocations. The BRS MLA said that the government had made poor allocations for its Six Guarantees.
