Frustrated Jagga Reddy trying to spread false information on BRS, Harish: Chintha Prabhakar
Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar hit back at TPCC President T Jagga Reddy over his criticism of former minister T Harish Rao. Prabhakar accused Jagga Reddy of spreading false propaganda and targeting Harish Rao for political gains
Sangareddy: Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar countered TPCC President T Jagga Reddy, who criticised former minister T Harish Rao on Monday. Speaking to news reporters at his camp office on Tuesday, Chintha Prabhakar said that Jagga Reddy was targeting Harish Rao in a state of frustration as his wife’s TGIIC Chairperson tenure had expired.
The Sangareddy MLA said that he was trying to spread lies about Harish Rao and gain the attention of his party leadership. Accusing Jagga Reddy of trying to spread false propaganda against BRS and Harish Rao to get the renewal of the chairperson post for his wife, Prabhakar said that Reddy was just fighting for his cause and recalled that he had never fought on public issues even though he was elected as an MLA thrice.
As Jagga Reddy said that the BRS tried to send him to jail by filing the PD Act in 2017, the BRS MLA dismissed it as a mere allegation and recalled that the human trafficking case was registered against Jagga Reddy when Congress was in power. He said that the police had just investigated the same case and found him guilty in 2017.
However, Prabhakar said that Jagga Reddy used the same case in his favour by spreading false propaganda during the 2018 elections when the Congress leader won the Sangareddy assembly constituency election with a slender majority.
However, he said that the people of Sangareddy would teach him a lesson by defeating him in the coming elections, which would eventually put a permanent end to his political career. The MLA said that Jagga Reddy was trying to claim that he had brought a Medical College to Sangareddy. BRS leaders Kasala Buchi Reddy, P Narhari Reddy, Jaipal Reddy, Dr Srihari and others were present.
