Hyderabad: Hilarious attacks and counter attacks with tweets continue between former cricketers Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer.

The latest fight was initiated a few days ago with Vaughan’s answer on an interview. When he was asked to name the cricketer that he would like to block on Twitter, he replied it with Jaffer’s name without thinking twice. Jaffer, within no time, gave a befitting reply by tweeting a photo of Indian team, which he also included, celebrating a series win against England. He captioned the photo, “Me and my friends after knowing @MichaelVaughan wants to block me.”

Again quoting Jaffer’s reply, the former England batsman tweeted that he will not block the player who got out on his filthy off-spin. Vaughan, who was never a good bowler has just six international wickets and one among them is of Jaffer. The former Indian opener didn’t leave that easily. He replied to the tweet saying, “he never thought that he had to pay the price of that wicket like this.”

I would never do that Wasim … No player that got out to my filthy off spin will ever be blocked … #😜 https://t.co/CfkKk670pt

It all started in December 2020, prior to the Australian tour of India. Just before the series, Michael Vaughan tweeted a prediction that India will lose 0-4 to Aussies in the Border-Gavaskar Test series. As we all know, the prediction failed so badly, as India recorded a historic win in Aussie soil. Wasim Jaffer trolled Vaughan for his poor prediction.

After that, during the IPL 2021, Vaughan predicted that Mumbai Indians have the most chance to win the cup this year, and also he said, “if by chance MI lose form, then Sunrisers Hyderabad will be the winner.” For this, Jaffer tweeted a funny meme saying that Vaughan’s prediction jinxed the chances of MI and SRH, referring to his former prediction on India-Aussie series.

Later Vaughan commented that New Zealand player Kane Williamson is better than Virat Kohli. While the two premier batsmen remained silent on the comment, Wasim Jaffer reacted to it and came up with a hilarious response. “Extra ungli Hrithik ke paas hai par karta Michael Vaughan hai,” he wrote on Twitter. He was referring to the unnecessary interference of Vaughan on every matter.

Cricket fans believe that the six-month long tweet war between the two has not concluded. Fans are eagerly waiting to know who will open fire next.
