Suryapet: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Saturday made it clear that there was no chance for early elections to the Legislative Assembly in the State.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of an official programme held at Suryapet, Jagadish Reddy said that the TPCC former president N Uttam Kumar Reddy was dreaming about the possibility of early elections in the state, but his dreams would not be realised. He hinted that the TRS government would not go for early elections in the state. He exuded confidence that TRS would win all 12 Assembly Constituencies in erstwhile Nalgonda district in the next elections.
Stating that Congress party lost its existence in erstwhile Nalgonda district, he held the Congress government responsible for fluorosis issue and drought like situation in Nalgonda for the decades before formation of Telangana state. Victory of TRS candidates in by-elections to Huzurnagar and Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly Constituencies has indicated the increased faith in the people towards the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he added.
Coming down heavily on Narendra Modi government at the Centre for its anti-people policies, he alleged that the administration of Narendra Modi lacked on welfare of the people and development of the country. BJP government in Gujarat was failed to even supply drinking water to every house during its 25 years tenure. He challenged the BJP leaders for open debate on the development in Gujrahat and Telangana states. He was ready to come to Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat or New Delhi for open debate, if BJP leaders accepted his challenge. Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema schemes bring implemented in only Telangana state in the Country. No state government was implementing similar schemes in the country, he added.
Stating that the TRS government was committed for welfare of the disabled persons, he reminded that the pension of disabled persons was increased to Rs 3,016 per months and required financial assistance for their high education was extending to them by the state government. The Minister has also distributed tri-cycles, scootys and cell phones to the disabled persons at a programme held in Suryapet.
