PEDDAPALLI: Farmers, who were denied the crop loan waiver, on Monday staged a dharna in front of the Karimnagar District Co-operative Central Bank (KDCC) in Centenary Colony of Ramagiri mandal, demanding that the State government immediately waive their crop loans.

Though the State government had announced all lists of crop loan waiver beneficiaries, these farmers were not included in any list, they complained. About 56 farmers having accounts in the KDCC bank’s Centenary Colony branch had not got the crop loan waiver benefit, they said.

At least now, the officials should respond and take initiatives to deposit amounts in their bank accounts, they said, threatening to intensify the agitation if they were ignored again.
