Mulugu: Even as many COVID patients of all ages are dying of fear, a 91-year-old woman, Errabelli Sugunamma of Lakshmidevipeta village of Venkatapuram mandal in the district has defeated the COVID-19.

According to her daughter, Sammakka, Sugunamma tested positive for the COVID-19 at a special COVID screening camp conducted at their village.

Following this, she was shifted to the government-run isolation centre at Jakaram and treated there. The doctors said that she was able to recover from the disease due to mental strength and no worry about the disease. Sugunamma said that she had followed the advice of the doctors and took the medicine on time besides taking nutritious food.
