Hyderabad: Congress candidate for Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly by-poll and former Minister K. Jana Reddy said he accepts the people’s verdict and congratulated TRS candidate N. Bhagath Kumar on the victory in the election.

He also said he was not keen on continuing in politics and contesting elections. “I am 75 years old and am not keen on continuing in politics. Unless, some extraordinary reason compels me, I may not contest elections. This is my personal decision,” said Jana Reddy.

The former Minister said he has been in politics since he was 20 years. ” Having contested for MLA seat 11 times, I ensured permanent solutions to different issues in the constituency as temporary solutions cannot fix such issues,” said Jana Reddy.
