NRI spends Rs 25 lakh to build dining hall in Siddipet school

Siddipet: Dr Ragi Gangaram, an NRI doctor from Siddipet, has donated Rs 25 lakh to build a dining hall at New High School Siddipet where he had his schooling.
After inaugurating the modern dining hall on the premises of the school on Saturday, Finance Minister T Harish Rao appreciated Dr Gangaram for the gesture.
Asking the NRIs from across Telangana to extend such support to educational institutions they have studied and villages they hail from, Rao said that the NRIs must give back something to their motherland to ensure others follow in their footsteps.
Another donor Pulluri Shiva Kumar has donated lunch plates to the school. He has felicitated the donors on this occasion.
