NSS camp by IIMC College benefits villages in Malkajgiri
NSS Units of IIMC College conducted a seven-day camp in Malkajgiri villages, organising medical camps, Ugadi celebrations, school activities and distributing notebooks, along with donations and social service initiatives benefiting local communities

Hyderabad: The NSS Units 1 and 2 of IIMC College conducted a seven-day special camp in Thimmaipalli and Dharmaram villages under Keesara Circle, Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
On March 18, a free medical camp was organised at the Kuruma Association building with support from The Deccan Medical and Education Society. Doctors from Medicover Hospital, Secunderabad, provided general health check-ups, including blood sugar tests, while specialists from American Laser Eye Hospital conducted eye screenings. Free medicines were distributed, benefiting many villagers.
On March 19, NSS volunteers celebrated Ugadi at Janahita Seva Trust and organised sports and cultural activities. On March 20, volunteers visited the Government Primary School in Thimmaipalli, where they conducted interactive teaching sessions and sports events.
Principal and NSS Chairman Kura Raghuveer distributed 200 notebooks to 100 students. He also visited Janahita Seva Organization for children with intellectual disabilities, distributed study materials, and donated Rs 50,000, emphasizing the importance of social service. Trustees felicitated the NSS team.
