NTPC begins training programme for FT MGR staff in Peddapalli
NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana STPS have launched a four-day training programme for FT/MGR staff to improve operational efficiency and safety. The initiative focuses on skill development and knowledge sharing among operating personnel and retired Railways staff.

Peddapalli: A four-day refresher/development training programme for retired Railways staff and operating personnel of FT/MGR systems of NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana STPS commenced on Monday. The programme was formally inaugurated by Executive Director, NTPC (Ramagundam & Telangana), Chandan Kumar Samanta, in the presence of senior officials.
The training programme, scheduled from April 20 to 23, aims to enhance operational efficiency, safety awareness and skill upgradation of FT/MGR operating staff. Manager (T&D) of Konkan Railways Academy, Surya Shekhar, is the faculty for the programme and will be imparting specialised training sessions covering key operational and safety aspects.
The initiative reflects NTPC’s continuous commitment towards capacity building, knowledge sharing and ensuring safe and efficient operations across its stations. On the occasion, General Manager (O&M Telangana), Mukul Rai, GM (O&M) Ramagundam, Manish Agarwal, AGM (Safety), Suprakash Chakraborty, HOHR (R&T), Sagar Ranjan Sahoo, encouraged the participants to actively engage in the training sessions.
