Peddapalli: National Thermal Power Project-Ramagundam won Swarn Shakti Award-2020-21. NTPC secured the award for the best project management under the project area category. Union Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy, RK Singh along with Chairman and Managing Director, NTPC, Gurdeep Singh distributed the awards through online mode in a function held at PMI, NTPC Noida on Sunday.

The awards were given to the business unit head of projects and regions by the Minister. Telangana team leader and Chief General Manager, NTPC (Ramagundam and Telangana), Sunil Kumar received the award.

The Union Minister, who addressed the senior dignitaries of NTPC as well as their families through virtual mode, congratulated the winners and appreciated NTPC’s role in leading India’s energy transition. RK Singh congratulated NTPC for its national contribution as a Maharatna company. NTPC Swarn Shakti Awards are given annually to projects to motivate employees to perform better.
