Oakridge dominates in Keystone basketball league clash

Hyderabad: Hosts Keystone School girls succumbed to the half-court pressure defence of Oakridge International School, losing 22-37 in the Keystone Schools Basketball League Championship on Friday.
After a convincing start and leading through the second quarter, Keystone failed to stop Sahasra Anabheri of Oakridge, who top-scored with 21 points. Though Geetha played an attacking game for the losers, the lack of support from teammates saw her effort fall short.
Oakridge International School and Chirec IB boys’ teams are on course to take the top two positions with an all-win record. While Oakridge defeated Keystone School 67-17, Chirec IB got the better of Indus International School Hyderabad 47-7.
