Officials gear up for demolitions on HYDRAA lines; Tensions prevail among Kamareddy residents

Residents in Bathukamma Kunta, Ashok Nagar, Rukmini Kunta, Kalki Nagar, Devunipally, Housing Board Colony and GR Colony are worried a lot as municipal officials are preparing to demolish a few structures in these areas.

Kamareddy: Tension is prevailing among many residents with the municipal officials gearing up for demolitions on the lines of HYDRAA at different places.

Residents in Bathukamma Kunta, Ashok Nagar, Rukmini Kunta, Kalki Nagar, Devunipally, Housing Board Colony and GR Colony are worried a lot as municipal officials are preparing to demolish a few structures in these areas.


Interestingly, BJP MLA Venkata Ramana Reddy had lodged a complaint and accordingly the municipal officials have served notices to 256 structure owners. Among those, who received notices, a few community halls and caste-based function halls, are also included.
