One dead, five injured in road accident in Jagtial
A man died and five others were injured when their car crashed into a tree near Ilapur village in Jagtial district on Tuesday. The victims were returning from a pilgrimage. Locals shifted the injured to Jagtial Government Hospital.
JAGTIAL: One person died and five others were injured in a road accident on the outskirts of Ilapur in Korutla mandal on Tuesday morning.
The mishap occurred when a car carrying the victims rammed into a roadside tree near an electricity sub-station.
The driver, Gadipelli Naresh (36), died on the spot. Among the injured were a couple, Bollapalli Srinivas and his wife Sujatha, along with other family members.
The victims, all residents of Ilapur in Korutla mandal, were returning to their native village after completing a pilgrimage when the accident took place. Locals rushed the injured to Jagtial Government Hospital.
