Sangareddy: One person died and four others sustained serious injuries when a DCM vehicle hit a goods autorickshaw on NH 161 at Shivvampet in Sangareddy district in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to Pulkal police, Shanthaiah (38), the autorickshaw driver was carrying some goods to Jogipet from Sangareddy when an oncoming DCM rammed his vehicle, killing him on the spot. Four others also suffered injuries in the mishap. Police shifted the injured to Government Hospital Sangareddy for treatment. A case has been registered.
