One dead, two critically injured as auto crashes into parked truck in Mancherial
One person was killed and two others critically injured after an auto-rickshaw crashed into a stationary truck in Indaram village, Mancherial district. The driver died on the spot. Preliminary police findings cite rash driving as the probable cause
Mancherial: One person died on the spot and two others sustained serious injuries when an auto-rickshaw rammed into a stationary truck at Indaram village in Jaipur mandal on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Poudala Rajesh, the driver of the auto-rickshaw and a resident of Bellampalli town. The injured passengers, Rama and Azeem, were rushed to a hospital in Godavarikhani of Peddapalli district, where their condition is stated to be critical.
According to police, preliminary investigation indicated that rash and negligent driving by Rajesh may have led to the accident. A case has been registered based on a complaint filed by Rajesh’s wife, Lavanya. Further investigations are under way.
