According to the police, Tapre Santosh, a Hindi language teacher at a primary school in Kalmalapet village, Vemanapalli mandal, and a resident of Adilabad district headquarters, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room in Chennur town at 8 PM on Sunday. Before taking his life, he had dropped off his wife, son, and daughter in Adilabad town.

Providing details of the arrest, Ramagundam Commissioner of Police M. Srinivasulu informed the media that Iruguralla Sathish, a juvenile, along with Mohammad Sameer, Bheema Anudeep, Mohammad Abdul, Jadi Raghavendra Swamy, Guduru Ramu, Shaik Athar, and Shaik Sameer— all from different parts of the town— as well as Arjun Babu Rao and Mohammad Azeej from Karimnagar, were apprehended following a tip-off.
