One killed after bus overturns and crashes on him in Mahabubnagar

The incident happened as the private bus was traveling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad. While trying to avoid a truck making a U-turn near the Addakula police station, the bus driver lost control, causing the bus to overturn on the roadside.

Mahabubnagar: One person died and several others sustained injuries when a private travels bus turned turtle near Addakula around 5 am today. The victim was crushed to death when the bus overturned and crashed on him.

The incident occurred when the private bus was heading to Hyderabad from Bengaluru. In a bid to avoid hitting a truck, which was taking a U turn near the Addakula police station, the private bus driver lost control, with the bus turning turtle on the roadside.


A 52-year-old farmer Krishnaiah, who was attending nature’s call, died on the spot when the bus fell on him. Bus driver Venkatesh and others, including Kumar, Shyam Kumar and Kiran were shifted to the local area hospital, according to reports.
