One killed, three injured as car hits culvert in Asifabad

Malluri Srinivas received grievous injuries resulting in spot death

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A businessman was killed on the spot, while three others sustained injuries when a car in which they were travelling hit a culvert at Jangaon village in Jainoor mandal early on Friday morning

Jainoor police said that Malluri Srinivas (42) from Asifabad town received grievous injuries when the car rammed into the culvert, resulting in spot death for him and minor injuries to his friends at around 2 am.

They were returning to Asifabad after visiting a temple in Maharashtra at the time of the mishap. Based on a complaint received from a family member of Srinivas, a case was registered. Investigations were taken up.
