One killed, two injured in road accident at Ibrahimpatnam

A 32-year-old centring worker died and two others were seriously injured after a car collided with their motorcycle near the Gurunanak College stretch in Ibrahimpatnam on Monday evening. Police registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.

Hyderabad: One person died and two others suffered serious injuries in a road accident involving a car and a motorcycle on Monday evening.

According to the police, three persons, Jakkula Lingam (32), Bandi Sudhakar (36) and N Nagesh (32), all centring workers, were travelling on a motorcycle from Ibrahimpatnam towards Petula village when a car hit the bike near the Gurunanak College stretch.


All three suffered serious injuries in the accident and Lingam died on the spot. The remaining two persons, Sudhakar and Nagesh, sustained serious injuries and were shifted to a hospital, police said.

The Ibrahimpatnam police registered a case and are investigating.
