One person killed, eight injured in explosion at Premier Explosives in Yadadri Bhongir
Among the injured, the condition of two workers, Kanakayya and Prakash, was reported to be critical.

Hyderabad: A major explosion occurred at the Premier Explosives facility in Peddakandukur of Yadadri Bhongir district, killing one person and leaving another in critical condition, while six others suffered severe burn injuries early on Saturday.
The police reached the factory and initiated rescue operations. The deceased was identified as M. Kanakayya from Bachannapet village. Another worker of the factory, Prakash, who is in critical condition, was shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment, while the other injured workers were admitted to a local hospital.
The emergency siren alerted the workers, making them evacuate the premises within minutes. The families of the affected workers arrived at the site and staged protests, alleging negligence on the part of the management.
The exact cause of the explosion was yet to be determined. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
