Open auction for scrap in Sangareddy jail on April 30

The winning bidders will need to remove the scrap from the jail within two days after paying the full bid amount, along with an additional 18 percent GST.

Sangareddy: Sangareddy Central jail authorities will auction the scrap on the premises of jail at 10.30 am on April 30. The scrap traders will submit a Rs 5,000 demand draft to the jail authorities to get eligibility to participate in the open auction.

Those who win the bid, will have to take the scrap out of the jail within two days after paying all the bid amount besides adding 18 per cent GST.

The jail authorities will pay back Rs 5,000 to the traders, who would lose their bid, immediately. Jail Superintendent Santosh Roy called upon the scrap traders to participate in the auction in huge numbers.
